Terms
Terms of Service
The plain version: what this website is, what this business does and does not do, and what is agreed before anyone starts work at your property.
These terms cover the use of valleywideleakdetection.com. Valleywide Leak Detection is a family owned business registered in Arizona under that name and based in Phoenix. Using this website means you are content with what is set out below; if you are not, the honest answer is to call instead and ask.
What this website is
It is a description of a leak detection and leak repair business, plus a set of guides about water, pools and pipe in the Phoenix valley. It is general information. It is not an inspection of your property, and nothing on it should be treated as a diagnosis of your particular leak. Only somebody standing on your property with equipment can tell you what is actually happening there.
What we do, and what we do not do
Leak detection and leak repair is all we do. We are not a general plumbing company — no sewer work, no gas lines, no water heaters, no drain cleaning, no fixture or appliance installs. If it is not a leak, we will tell you that too.
If you contact us about something outside that, we will tell you rather than take the work. Nothing on this site should be read as an offer to carry out work we do not do.
Availability and timing
We do not publish opening hours or arrival windows on this website, and nothing on it is a promise about when we can attend. We are a small family business. When you call or text, you will be told honestly when we can get to you, and that conversation is the only commitment about timing that exists.
Work carried out at your property
Any work is agreed with you before it starts: what is being looked at, what is being opened, and what happens next. Leak work involves conditions nobody can see in advance — what is behind a wall, under a slab or in the ground — so the scope can change once the property is in front of us. If it does, you hear about it before anything else happens, not afterwards.
Nothing on this website is a guarantee about the outcome of a job, and no text on it creates a warranty of any kind. Where something is agreed about a specific piece of work, that agreement is what applies, not this page.
Access matters: somebody needs to be able to reach the pool equipment, the meter, the irrigation valves or the room in question. Where a property is shared, leased or part of an association, we assume the person instructing us is entitled to do so.
Contacting us by phone, text or the form
When you send us a message you are asking us to reply, so we may reply by phone, by text or by email using the details you gave. Your own carrier's message rates apply to anything sent by text. Please keep card details, account numbers and passwords out of messages and out of the chat window — we never need them.
Do not use the form, the chat or a text message to report something that needs emergency services. If water is threatening electricity or a structure, deal with that first.
Information from other sources
Some pages here refer to material published by other organisations — water providers, a city, Salt River Project, the U.S. Census Bureau. It is quoted because it is useful and it is cited where it is used, but those organisations change their own rules, rates and figures without telling us. Check anything that matters with the organisation itself before relying on it.
Links to other websites are there for convenience. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what is on them.
Our own content
The words, photographs, diagrams and layout on this site belong to this business or are used with permission. Quote a sentence and link back if it is useful to you. Please do not republish a page wholesale or pass our photographs off as somebody else's work.
Limits
This website is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and we correct things when we find them wrong, but we cannot promise it is complete or uninterrupted, and we are not responsible for a decision taken purely on the basis of a web page rather than on advice about your actual property.
Arizona law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Arizona, and anything arising from them belongs in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.
Changes
If this page changes, the changed version is what applies from the point it goes up. It describes the business as it operates now.
