Reviews
Where to read a review, and where to leave one
We are not going to print a rating on our own website. A review is worth something when it sits somewhere we cannot edit it, so that is where we send you.
Why this page looks like this
A rating we typed ourselves is not checkable
A score printed on a company's own homepage cannot be verified by the person reading it. Ours sits somewhere it can be, so that is where we send you.
What is worth your time is a review on a platform the business does not control — where the reviewer has an account, where the words are theirs, and where we cannot quietly remove the one we did not like. Google is the one most people already have open, so that is where ours live.
Read what people have written, and if you have worked with us, add yours. Both links go to the same listing.
Opens Google in a new tab. We do not see what you write before it is published, and we cannot take it down.
What we ask for
Say the useful part
If you are kind enough to write something, the details below help the next homeowner far more than a compliment does.
The things worth mentioning
- What the leak turned out to be. A pool return, a slab line, a drip valve, the main before the house. That is the part somebody searching recognises.
- Whether we found it. Including if it took a second visit, or if it had been looked at before and missed.
- Whether we showed you the spot before anything was opened up.
- Whether the explanation made sense — in English or in Español, whichever you had it in.
- What the yard looked like when we left.
And the things we never do
- We do not offer anything in exchange for a review.
- We do not write them, edit them, or ask anyone else to.
- We do not chase the good ones and hide the rest — the listing is public and whatever is on it is on it.
- We do not publish a rating, a score or a tally on this website, because you have no way to check one.
If a job went wrong
Tell us before you tell the internet — not to keep it quiet, but because a leak job that did not go right can usually be put right, and we would rather do that than read about it.

Ask for the person who was at your property. It is a family business; there is no complaints department to be transferred to.
Judging a leak company
What a review cannot tell you, and what to ask instead
Reviews are a starting point. For this particular trade there are a few questions that tell you more, and you can ask them on the phone before anybody comes out.
- “Will you locate it before you open anything?” Pressure testing, acoustic listening, dye tracing, thermal imaging and line tracing all exist so that ground and concrete get opened once, in the right place.
- “Will you show me where it is?” You should be shown the spot and told what is happening there while it is still intact.
- “Is leak work what you actually do?” Ours is all we do — Leak detection and leak repair is all we do. We are not a general plumbing company — no sewer work, no gas lines, no water heaters, no drain cleaning, no fixture or appliance installs. If it is not a leak, we will tell you that too.
- “Who is turning up?” Worth knowing whether the person you are talking to is the person who will be in your yard.
- “What happens if you cannot find it?” Ask, and get the answer before the visit rather than after.
If those answers line up with what you read on a public listing, you are on firm ground. If they do not, that is worth knowing too.
